The department maintains its own library of Textbooks prescribed by the syllabi of the XI  and XII Courses, Reference books, Periodicals, Proceedings of work shops, Seminars and Conferences and research papers. At present department has -121 – books and journals on geology. The faculty members enrich this library by keeping their personal books as and when required by fellow teachers and students.
