• Department of History,  Gopal Krishna Gokhale College, organised a guest lecture of Dr. N. G. Bhavare on 4th January, 2007. He delivered his lecture on the topic namely “Expansion and Downfall of Chhatrapatipad in Maratha Power”.
• Under the lead college scheme, Department of History organised the one day work-shop on “Contribution of Social movement in Kolhapur State” on 20th October, 2011.
• Archives Directorial, Government of Maharashtra and Department of History G.K.G.College, Kolhapur organised. The Training class for Modi Script from 5th Feb. to 16th Feb, 2013 at G.K.G.College, Kolhapur.
• To arrange the Historical tour for B.A. III Students to Pratapgad, Raigad, Mahabaleshwar from 28/12/2011 to 29/02/2011.
